The service has a strong relationship with the School and local community, utilising the School playground, library and community vegetable garden.

The service employs a chef to prepare a nutritional morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea for the children in care. Menus are designed to take into account children's likes and dislikes as well as ensuring they receive their five basic food groups each day.
